TVO Course Production
During my time at TVO, I worked as a Web Production Artist on a large cross-functional team dedicated to building online K–12 educational courses. I helped produce the course websites themselves, as part of the web team (Web Production Artists), collaborating closely with learning designers, developers, media and copyright experts, and curriculum specialists to deliver high-quality, accessible, Ministry-of-Education–compliant digital learning experiences. Our team created dozens of rich, interactive, user-friendly web-based courses that supported students across Ontario and beyond.
We worked in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment, using Git for version control and continuous iteration. As part of the web team, we used HTML, CSS, JSON, and various in-house scripting tools to streamline production workflows. We worked with thousands of assets (graphics, illustrations, images, audio and video files) that were constantly updated, cleared for ethics, curriculum standards and copyright use, and organized. For asset management and cross-team coordination, we relied on SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, and Microsoft Teams, ensuring efficient communication and smooth project delivery.
