TTC Routes Page Redesign - 2017
While working at the Toronto Transit Commission, I was part of a small design team that was responsible for redesigning the transit routes page for street cars and buses. The goal was to improve the user experience for our customers, and make it easier and more efficient for them to find the route information they were looking for.
Process
- Gathering and analyzing customer data via Google Analytics and through our web vendor.
- Collaborating with team, and creating wireframe mock-ups in various fidelities.
- Presenting our high fidelity mock ups to management.
- Further team collaboration to iterate and choose final design.
- Working with web vendor to implement design and accessibility testing.
- Monitoring analytics, and using customer surveys to gage customer satisfaction.
- Iterating on design.
